Notes from the August Board of Directors Meeting
August 21, 2018
- The inspection committee reported that there is currently 661 horses entered for the upcoming inspections. The committee has also requested that inspection attendees contact their local site host regarding the fees for runners.
- The board passed a change to Bylaw 6.4.4 which will go before the FHANA membership as part of the Board of Directors election.
- To avoid conflicts of interest, nominees for the Board of Directors shall not be board officers for any non-FHANA horse related association for a period of one (1) year prior to receiving a nomination to the Board and shall not serve as a board officer for any other FHANA or non-FHANA horse related association while serving on the Board, if elected.
The upcoming election dates have been set and will start with a call for nominations on Nov. 1, 2018
