13 Stallions Enter Central Proving

Eleven three-year old and two four-year old stallions will try and make their way to a breeding certificate, through a saddle as well as a harness test. Originally, 21 stallions were to start the proving, but some have dropped out. Their owners withdrew Fedde fan A. (Eibert 419 Sport x Onne 376 Sport) and Douwe (Haitse 425 Sport x Adel 357). Due to an injury, two stallions will have their proving next year: Douwe van het Houkumhuis (Harmen 424 Sport x Olof 315 Sport) and Douwe fan Oostenbrug (Jerke 434 Sport x Rindert 406 Sport). Three stallions will be delivered later: Berend R.M. (Haitse 425 Sport x Bonne 341), Djarin (Beart 411 Sport x Anton 343 Sport) and Fantastic van de Bist (Haitse 425 Sport x Teunis 332P Sport). The owner of Freerk fan d’Ald Loop (Tsjalke 397 x Bonne 341) was advised to withdraw him. The team was pleased to see that the stallions were substantially better geared to their mission than in the years before. Much to the satisfaction of owners, judges and the training leader, the three preparation sessions led by Johan Hamminga that started in June seem to be doing the trick. The stallions can now present themselves to the most of their abilities.
