Gandalf is very special to us and we want to make sure he goes to the right home. If you are looking for a flashy/talented Friesian Ster gelding for dressage, look no further. Gandalf is modern build, has a regal expression with outstanding movement. When Gandalf enters the show ring all eyes are on him. His sire is the famous Wander who has proven over and over to produce quality horses and his dams sire is is the Sport & Preferent Stallion Tsjerk. Gandalf is quality all the way, he stands 16.3 hands, mane to his shoulders and tons of tail and feathers. Gandalf has shown at training level scoring high 60s and low 70s, he could go first level this season with the right rider and beyond. Beauty and talent all in one package!!! Gandalf was our second foal we breed here at Rainier Friesians. As a colt we saw Gandalf’s potential from the beginning. At his first keuring to be judged for the foal book, Gandalf received 1st premie as well as grand champion of the colts. When Gandalf became of riding age he was put into full time training with Erin Jorgensen to refine his dressage skills. In doing so Gandalf has become one of the most athletic and graceful friesians. At the age of 7 Gandalf was presented Dutch judges and received his ster status.
